Within the aims of Filmlab: Palestine in developing filmmaker’s capabilities and promoting the film industry in Palestine, Filmlab:Palestine and in partnership with Ramallah Doc, invites you to participate in a specialized workshop in Film Production, that will take place between the period of 15-18 July 2016, by the producer Marc Baschet.

About the Production workshop
The workshop aims to familiarize participants with the role of film producer, various stages of production, in addition to explaining what a producer is and the role he plays during film production, from writing the script until the film distribution. The workshop will also address the distribution process, and the relation between the producer and the distributor
Marc Baschet — is a producer that has been producing TV films and series, as well as many features films for years. Marc became an Oscar winning producer with No Man’s Land as he was already an Oscar nominee producer with Before the Rain.He recently produced The Lunchbox by Ritesh Batra (Cannes 2013 Critic’s Week) which has been a top success all over the world ,), and Albüm by Mehmet Can Mertoglu (Turkey) which won the “revelation award at Critic’s week this year.,
